Jay Fagan hails from Chicago and is amongst the most sought after Tap Masters in the industry today. Entering his third decade of international dance experience, his mastery of rhythm tap has been performed, taught, and choreographed worldwide. He’s also known as one of the most fun teachers and entertaining performers of today.
Technically, he has been trained by the very best tap dancers in the business including, Lane Alexander, Gregory Hines, Henry LaTang, Sam Weber and Savion Glover. Jay has shared the stage with Dianne Walker, Lane Alexander, Acia Gray, Barbara Phillips, Sarah Savelli, Ayodele Casel, Derick Grant and so many more. His polished performances have been seen by the President of the United States, Kupio Dance Festival in Finland, Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, Canada Windsor Casino Showroom, Las Vegas’ Flamingo, Luxor and Suncoast Hotels, Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Third Coast Rhythm Project, Soul To Sole Tap Festival, Scotland B.A.T.D, Germany, Mexico and many more.
Mr. Fagan was an artist in residence for two years at Oklahoma City University at the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Arts Management under the direction of Jo Rowan. He has taught all over the Chicago land area for over 20 years and is part owner of Jo’s Footwork Studio and The Dance Workshop.
Beyond his master of tap, Jay has studied and still teaches all mediums of dance. His choreographic works have consistently and always placed within all top ranking national competitions. Jay has worked with Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Dance Olympus, Starquest, Chicago Dance Connection, Texas Association of Teachers and Dance, British Association of Teachers of Dancing (which he is a member), Sheer Talent and many many more.
A recipient of both the Presidential Scholar Award and the American Dance Award, Jay has danced with AM/FM Dance Company, Especially Tap Chicago, Sarah Savelli/Jay Fagan Project and Sibling Rivalry with his sister Connie Fagan.
All this could not be possible without his first dance teacher Jo Irbe (his second mother) who trained him from the start and showed him the love and wonderful life that dance really is. Thanks Jo!
Jazz, July 9

Connie Sweeney has been dancing for over 30 years. She has trained in advanced level mastery in the art of tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, modern and hip hop. She is on staff at Jo's Footwork Studio in Western Springs, IL teaching tap, lyrical and jazz. She is also a choreographer for City Nation – a multi discipline dance company based in Orland Park, IL- and has been for the last 5 years.
Connie attended the NFAA in Madison, WI where she received a "platinum" in tap, and "honorable mention" in jazz. Connie has been on faculty for workshops/conventions such as CNADM, CDC, DMW, and STARQUEST. She has been a member of Matrix Dance Improv - modern, The Kirby Reed Ascension Project - jazz, Instruments of Movement - modern, and Rhythm ISS - an all female tap ensemble.
She has performed with her brother, Jay Fagan, in "Sibling Rivalry"and was a member of Same Planet Different World - a modern company- for 9 years. Connie was also the artistic director of an “all discipline” dance
company, Footwork Dance Ensemble, for five years. She continues to guest teach and choreograph for
studios in the Chicagoland area.

Robert Mckee attended Point Park University and is a former company member of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. He is currently the Artistic Director of Inaside Chicago Dance.
He has been a guest dancer and choreographer most recently with Chicago Dance Crash, Cerqua Rivera, and other Independent projects. Robert began an interest in teaching and choreography at a very young age. Influenced by percussive rhythms and dynamic shapes, he finds himself always inspired to create.
Robert has been on faculty at the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, a teacher for Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, and teaches throughout the Chicagoland area.
He has worked with Rockford Dance Company, The Giordano Project, Giordano Juniors, McDonald Dance Academy, Barrington High School, Northshore School of Dance Performing Ensemble, the Giordano on Giordano choreography showcase, Riverside Brookfield High School, Northern Illinois University and Framework Dance Chicago.

Fiona is a dance instructor and choreographer based out of NYC. After graduating Oklahoma City University with a degree in Dance Performance, she began her professional performing career dancing with the Phoenix Opera and appearing on regional television commercials.
During her time in the west coast was also a Certified Instructor of SEED Fitness, a dance conditioning method. Since then she has performed and taught aboard Princess Cruises, and was a featured dancer in the National Tour of Sweet Charity. Regional theater credits include Singin’ in the Rain, White Christmas, Hello Dolly, The Producers, My Fair Lady, Will Rogers Follies to name a few. Having fulfilled all of her stage performing dreams, Fiona now teaches a variety of dance styles at studios in New York and Connecticut.
She recently was the choreographer/dancer for the RINN band “Trauma” music video and just completed her ninth season as a dance competition adjudicator. She is passionate about the versatility in today’s industry and is eager to inspire young dancers to become better technicians and performers.
Hip Hop, July 22

Luke has have been dancing for over 20 years under many different well known teachers of all styles throughout the Midwest. He currently teaches at Center Stage Dance Studio in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
His last year on a competitive dance team included a few performances on America’s Got Talent: Season 9, where he and his dance partner made it to the Top 40 finalists. Once Luke graduated in 2014 from competitive dancing, he started teach Tap and Hip Hop within the Chicago suburbs.
Currently, he is the the lead competitive Hip Hop instructor at Center Stage and has choreographed numerous award winning routines.
Ballet, June 17
Ages 9-11, 10:00-11:30am
Ages 12 & up, 11:30am-1:00pm
Callie began her pre-professional training at Faubourg School of Ballet under the direction of Watmora Casey. While there she obtained her ballet training with Tatyana Mazur from the Odessa Government Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Catalina Garza of the Joffrey Ballet, and Ernesto Quenedit from the National Ballet of Cuba and the Joffrey Ballet. She received her modern and jazz training from Victor Ramirez, Camille Turner, and Nickie Del Re Masino. Beyond her home training she spent summers at Milwaukee Ballet, Interlochen Arts, and Ballet Camp Illinois. She performed many roles with Faubourg School of Ballet and Schaumburg Prarie Arts Center. She competed regionally and nationally at competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix.
Callie went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was on the nationally ranked Dancing Flames under the direction of Toya Ambrose. In 2010 she was signed by the Foley Modeling Agency where she worked professionally as a dancer and model. In 2015 she made the Chicago Bulls dance team where she danced for her first NBA season as a Luvabull.
In 2009 she began her teaching career by instructing ballet classes for the UIC Dancing Flames. Since then she has worked with a multitude of studios and competitive teams. She most recently trained students for the 2015, 16’, 17’, and 18' Chicago regional Youth American Grand Prix, earning top 3 placements and entrance into NYC Finals. She opened her own training studio in 2016, Underground Allegro Dance Center and continues to teach in the Chicago Land area. She has a love for children and a passion for training dancers to reach their goals through hard work and diligence.
